My name is Barb Gangloff and I am the director and owner of Cabin Kids Preschool in Buckley, Washington. Cabin Kids began over 20 years ago after the birth of my first daughter Kayla. The minute the nurse placed her in my arms I knew that I had just been given the most precious gift that any person could be given and without hesitation gave my employer of eight years notice and quit my job and became an advocate for children. After many years of training in both Montessori and Early Childhood, Cabin Kids Daycare became Cabin Kids Preschool.
I am proud of my wonderful staff and the enriching activities and projects we do on a daily basis. I would love to have the opportunity to show you the smiling faces of Cabin Kids Preschool.
We are located one mile from downtown Buckley, quietly tucked away on Spiketon hill. Our storybook log cabin preschool is nestled between three pastured acres where the deer and our grandpa horse (Hawk) graze. We serve the towns of Buckley, Carbonado and Bonney Lake. Our school provides care to children 2-5 years of age. Since 1992, Cabin Kids has provided high quality preschool programs in a safe, loving, and nurturing environment.
Our goal at Cabin Kids Preschool is to equip each child with a strong academic foundation, encourage good character and values, and strengthen socialization skills. The age appropriate curriculum is designed to meet the needs of all aspects of development in a young child: gross motor, fine motor, academics, literature, music, creativity, and socialization.
As a theme-based center the children will also learn about a wealth of topics as well as a understanding of the world around them. The daily stimulating activities offer children the opportunity to explore and learn with a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
Cabin Kids Preschool is a truly loving and nurturing environment with a dedicated staff. Our classrooms offer a low student to teacher ratio. I encourage you to visit our school in Buckley to see why we have been education pre-schoolers for over 20 years.
